Hello, Creativity Perspective readers. Today’s post is coming directly from my creative soul to yours.
I am setting aside this project for awhile. It’s been a wonderful summer of posting, research and creating new materials, but it’s time to move on.
I still believe very strongly in the need for creativity education and awareness. I will continue to make it my mission to bring creativity to the fore of the conversation. I will continue to call myself a “creativity activist.”
I plan to return to this project when I have the time to give it everything it deserves. But right now, I have a first novel to revise, and a second novel to continue drafting; I have a full-time job to start on Tuesday, and a baby coming in six weeks. It wouldn’t be fair to continue blogging or posting newsletters on this site when I can only give it a small piece of my time and energy. It, and you, deserve more than that.
I am planning to continue posting at Words From The Sowul, my author website, as I have done throughout this summer. I’ve been blogging there for over five years now. If you’ve enjoyed reading these posts, please visit me there so we can keep up the connection. I frequently write about creative projects and productivity in those posts.
I’m not sure when the next post on this site will be, but I am going to continue to keep it active, so you can look through the archives and any additional material you may have missed. I’m proud of the foundation I’ve set here, and I will build on it further someday.
Until then, keep your creativity flowing.
